Tollywood star Allu Arjun was last seen in the mega hit family movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which featured Pooja Hegde in the lead and was helmed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film emerged as one of the highest grossing Telugu movies this year.
Written and directed by Sukumar, his next film Pushpa will feature Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will feature music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Featuring a striking look, Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, the upcoming film is all set to release in 5 languages - Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
It was earlier said that Vijay Sethupathi might be the antagonist for Allu Arjun in the movie. But we had already reported that Bobby Simha has been touted to have been onboard for this role. Recently, the latest buzz has been that Madhavan was chosen for the role. But even that has been deemed to be a rumor.
Madhavan, in his official statement has refuted this rumor. Sharing a post which mentioned him as the villain for this movie, he tweeted saying "Not true at all...!" Check out the tweet below:
