LEGENDARY LYRICIST NO MORE

Legendary lyricist Na Kamarasan died yesterday, the 24th May. He was 76 and is survived by his wife Logamani, a son and a daughter. He was not well for some time and his end came due to multiple organ failure.

Kamarasan was introduced to the film industry by MGR and his first film was Needhikku Thalai Vanangu. He has penned unforgettable songs that include Kanavugaley Aaiyram Kanavugaley, Oh Maaney Maaney Unnai Thaaaney, Paadum Vaanambadi, Vilakku Vacha Nerathiley Maaman Vanthan and Vaanile Thenilaa Aaduthey to name some.
