Earlier this morning, reports started to speculate saying that Kaala's release date might be pushed, due to the TFPC strike, allowing space for other films to release. The rumours also suggested that Lyca Productions agreed to TFPC's request to postpone the film. However, Lyca Productions has now officially clarified that they haven't given any promises to postpone Kaala's release.
 

Their latest tweet read, "@LycaProductions has not conveyed anything to anyone regarding #Kaala release date. We are not responsible for any statements arising on release date speculations"

So, as of now, Kaala's release date stands the same, April 27.
