The Karthi-starrer road-action thriller Kaithi has garnered universal acclaim for it's high-octane action sequences and ensemble performances. The film had also catapulted it's director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, into the big league of most sought-after filmmakers of Tamil cinema.
Produced by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures, Kaithi starred Karthi, Narain, Dheena, Arjun Das in principal roles. The makers have officially announced the Hindi remake of this thriller.
The official statement regarding the Hindi remake of Kaithi was posted in the official Twitter account of Dream Warrior Pictures. The banner has joined hands with Reliance Pictures for producing the Hindi remake of the film.
Released on October 25, Kaithi tells the cat and mouse game between an ex-convict Dilli and a group of gangsters, who are set out to kill five policemen. The tense thriller unfolds in a single night.
