It is well-known that the shooting of Director Hari and Arun Vijay's next titled 'AV 33' is going on at a brisk pace. The team which has already travelled to Rameswaram and Karaikudi earlier, is currently shooting in Palani. The latest update is that Actor Samuthirakani has replaced Prakash Raj in the film.
Actor Prakash Raj, who has earlier acted in several of Director Hari's films has opted out of the project reportedly due to the shoulder injury he suffered recently. He also spoke to Hari regarding the issue as the team had to wait for a long while. Prakash Raj is playing a crucial role in Mani Ratnam's magnum-opus project 'Ponniyin Selvan' as well.
Samuthirakani has been shooting with the team for a week now and he's expected to play the role of Arun Vijay's brother in the untitled action movie.
While Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, the other actors include Yogi Babu, Pugazh, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Ammu Abhirami and Garuda Ram of 'KGF' fame. After eight years, Gangai Amaren had returned to acting with this movie.
Arun Vijay was last seen in Karthick Naren's 'Mafia: Chapter 1' and has a long line-up of films including 'Sinam' directed by GNR Kumaravelan; 'Agni Siragugal' directed by Naveen, and 'Borrder', directed by Arivazhagan.
