‘‘VIJAY AND AJITH DON’T DRESS IN SKIMPY CLOTHES’’

Actress Lakshmy Ramakrishnan is one person who never shies away from speaking her mind no matter how controversial it might sound. Now she has expressed her thoughts about women objectification. Here is a compilation of her tweets and her replies regarding this issue.

“If we dont objectify ourselves, we can raise voice against other people doing so! We should not use our body as a tool. How can we demand respect from others when we don't respect ourselves? Are girl's bodies show pieces?”

When one of her followers bashed her saying she was shallow minded, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan replied, “ya? Broadminded Ness is  making our body a tool, & then complain about objectification?! Shud we not grow above these basics?”

“I am old fashioned, may be old, but, I still feel as media people,v need to be responsible! Not judging anyone, but trying to make a point. I tell the same thing to my girls, argue with them, I tell myself the same thing! We are not objects of beauty...we are much above all that.”

“#Vijay & #Ajith dont dress in skimpy clothes?Bcas it doesn't look good? Heroines do it as it looks sensuous? So... purpose of dress here?” Another follower of hers asked why does she drag Vijay and Ajith’s name in this issue. For which her reply was, “do you even understand what I said?! I said they dress up well & don't objectify their bodies. avangka udamba oru  porulaa payan paduthalannu  sonnen... thappana mannichukkappa. Unknowingly all of us use our bodies as tools...only degree varies, right & wrong is relative, Self imposed discipline is the only solution!”
