“MAATTRRAAN IS MY FAVOURITE FILM, HE DIDN’T LIKE AYAN’S SECOND HALF!”

In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, director KV Anand who is eagerly awaiting the release of his Vijay Sethupathi starrer Kavan, shared information on his personal favourite project so far.

He said, “My personal favourite and my best project is Suriya’s Maattrraan. It was due to lack of time before the release that we could not trim it to perfection. Even editor Anthony’s most favourite film is Maattrraan. In fact, he doesn’t like the second half of Ayan. He used to tell me the second half was too quick and that Maattrraan was always his favourite of my works.”

The keen director is excited about his Kavan which also stars T.Rajendar and Madonna Sebastian in lead roles. The movie is all set to hit screens on the 31st of March.
