Kalakalappu 2 directed by Sundar C is holding tight at the box office. The film stars Jiiva, Jai, Shiva, Nikki Galrani and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. Music is composed by HiphopTamizha. The full video of Krishna Mukundha track from the film has now been officially released by the team.
There was rumour saying Shibu Thameens, producer of Saamy2 will be working with actor Jai for a film. But Shibu has now issued a statement saying that he has no immediate plans to work with the Chennai 28 actor. Official clarification is here:

This is to clear the confusion that we are not part of any movie production company and have no immediate plan to work with respected Actor JAI.
Time being its only Saamy2. Will update officially if any. Would like to specify that Thameens Films, Thameens Release and Thameens Theatres are under the sole proprietorship of Shibu.K"
