''I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A PERFORMANCE BEFORE'', SAYS SURIYA

Kootathil Oruthan (KO) starring Ashok Selvan, Priya Anand, Samuthirakani and Anupama Kumar is directed by T.J Gnanavel. The film has music composed by Nivas.K.Prasanna and cinematography by Pramodh. The first look was released on 27th November and it was received well. It was revealed to be a love story of a middle-bencher.

KO's audio release function took place today (29th November) with Suriya, Sivakumar, Nassar and RJ Balaji gracing the occasion with their presence. The audio launch saw Nivas.K.Prasanna perform all the songs live with his band. The audience had received the songs very well and Nivas was well appreciated.

Rajasekar Pandian, the director and creative head of 2D entertainment revealed that Kootathil Oruthan is a breezy entertainer while RJ Balaji hailed Nivas as the new age Vidyasagar. When Suriya spoke, he complimented Nivas for his brilliant performance on stage while presenting all the songs. He said, "I was stunned by Nivas's never-before-seen live performance". He also spoke about Ashok Selvan and said, "Ashok Selvan is the perfect actor for the script and I am seeing him from childhood".

The release date of the film has not been confirmed yet, though it is expected to hit the silver screens in early 2017.
