TRAILER OF POPULAR TAMIL FILM'S REMAKE!!!

Premam director Alphonse Puthren made his debut with a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film titled Neram. It was a black comedy thriller starring Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Bobby Simha in both versions.

Supporting roles were played by Manoj K Jayan, Shammi Thilakan, and Lalu Alex in Malayalam and Nassar, Thambi Ramiah, John Vijay and Shabareesh Varma portrayed the characters in Tamil. The whole film is set within one day in Chennai. The music was scored by Rajesh Murugesan.

The film was about an unemployed engineer struggles to pay back a loan he took from a loan shark. His life becomes more complicated when he decides to elope with his girlfriend as her father opposes their relationship.

Now Neram is being remade in Kannada as Kismat featuring Vijay Raghavendra in the lead role. Apart from acting as the lead, Vijay has also directed this remake which is planned for a November 23 release.
