Lust Stories is an anthology consists of 4 short story segments directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. The film is massively received by the audience. Kiara Advani at a recent interview shared her experience being a part of Lust and what the role meant to her. When asked about how she handled the failure of her first film Machine, the actress said,

"The film actually gave me a lot of positives, in the sense I got to work with such wonderful people and explore cinema differently. A very popular dance number from the film is even now played at all parties and that song gave me further recognition. In fact, Karan Johar approached me for Lust only after watching my dancer number from that film. Even though my first film didn't work out I believe everything will contribute at the end of the day"
