The film directed by Atlee seems to have the right packaging for all the audiences to enjoy with their families. On this note, it is an all time high number of tickets sold in 5 days for this Vijay movie at Kasi theatre, Chennai.

It is official that 14,000 tickets have been sold out in 5 days. Kasi theatre’s Twitter handle read, “Its housefull #Mersal  at Kasi for all the 5 days. New record for a Vijay starrer movie at our theatre. #MersalDiwali  @ThenandalFilms”. Their photo post read, “Housefull for 5 days, 14,000 tickets sold out!”.
