KARTHIK SUBBARAJ'S D40: DHANUSH'S 'GANGSTER' LOOK OFFICIALLY REVEALED

A recent picture posted in the official Twitter account of YNot Studios featured a compilation of iconic characters from their filmography. The picture also carried a glimpse of Dhanush's makeover from his upcoming gangster-thriller D40. The attire and the 'aruvaal' weapon gives a spitting image of Dhanush's intense look in his 2006 crime drama Pudhupettai.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Kalaiyarasan, James Cosmo, Ashwanth Ashokkumar and Sanchana Natarajan in central roles. Reportedly titled 'Suruli', the film is predominantly shot in London and parts of Tamil Nadu.

D40 has music by Santosh Narayanan while Shreyaas Krishna handles the cinematography. The film's official title look is expected to be unnveiled on February. Stay tuned for more updates
