Director Karthik Subbaraj has made it a case to talk about social issues upfront. His first short film was about the Eezham issue in Sri Lanka, while his latest release, Mercury talked about how corporates kill the environment.


The director once again made it a case to talk about a social issue as he tweeted about the Sivagangai honor killings.


He tweeted: "Sivagangai murders and Kerala honor killing incidents shows how strong and prevalent 'Casteism' is in our country.... Horrible!!

Strongly condemn the barbaric murders in the name of CASTE.
Shame on you Casteists..."

Rajinikanth's next film, post the release of Kaala, will be directed by Karthik Subbaraj, as we all know. Produced by Sun Pictures,  this big-budget film features Vijay Sethupathi in an important role. On the technical front, the music is scored by Anirudh and cinematography is handled by Tirru.
 

Now, sources close to us have informed that two of Karthik Subbaraj's favourite actors are on board. We are told that Bobby Simha and Jil Jung Juk, Mercury fame Sananth Reddy are part of this Rajinikanth starrer, and apparently, both of them would be playing Rajinikanth's two sons in the film.


Both, Bobby Simha and Sananth have impressed the audience with their performances in Jigarthanda and Mercury respectively, and now it is going to interesting to see how their next association with Karthik Subbaraj is going to be. An official confirmation from the team is awaited.
