Kadaikutty Singam an upcoming Tamil film starring Karthi and Sayyeshaa playing the lead is hinted to be a family drama film underlying a strong social message. The film is directed by Pandiraj and produced by Suriya's 2D entertainments.

The audio launch for the film took place earlier today, June 11th. The lead Karthi spoke about the genre of the film and his work experience with director Pandiraj.
 

"In my first film I played as a villager and I always loved playing that role. After a long time, I got the confidence to play a role like that and conveniently Pandiraj sir approached me in business for this role. It has a strong message addressing the youngsters too.

This film underlines the importance of farmers and defines how they are the backbone of all of us. It also emphasizes on family sentiments to take it a step further. I loved playing this role as it was very close to my heart and I could relate my own family to this role.

Working with Pandiraj has truly been inspirational because he always believes and follows what he shows on screen. It was extremely interesting being a part of this project working with such talented people around me"
