EXCLUSIVE: KARTHI TALKS ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES OF ACTING WITH SURIYA!

Recently, Behindwoods had an exclusive interview with the lead stars of Mani Ratnam's next, Kaatru Veliyidai, Karthi and Aditi Rao. The film is releasing worldwide on April 7th and the expectations are already very high. The interview saw actor Karthi discuss a lot about Mani Ratnam's films and his experiences in Kaatru Veliyidai and as an assistant director.

At the fag end of the interview, we had asked him about his views on starring in a dual hero subject along with his brother, Suriya and whether they have any ideas for the same. The actor was quick to respond to this as he said, '' We ourselves were thinking about this recently, It will be a really sweet memory for the both of us. Two brothers being in the same industry at the same time is rare and we would definitely love to work together. Opportunities don't come to us very often so we will be waiting for the perfect script to come our way''.

When asked about whether he has received any feedback about his resemblance to his brother Suriya, Karthi added, ''My inspiration is Vaaranam Aayiram Suriya. I really felt that I could do it only if this character is similar to that, if not I wouldn't do justice. I didn't know if I could lose that much weight, look like that character and pull this role off. Many people still ask why Mani sir chose me for this character, We need to wait for the movie to see if I've done a good job''
