Karthi is currently busy shooting for his next titled 'Dev' with a debutant director Ranjath Ravishankar. The actor is all set for the release of Kadaikutty Singam this week and he went Facebook live to have an interaction with his fans. In his interaction, when questioned on whether he will collaborate with actor Suriya for a project, Karthi stated, 

"I really wish to do a film with him. In fact director Pandiraj is writing a script for the two of us and if it all works out fine, we will definitely come together on screen. You all have high expectations of us and hence, we are waiting for a very good script. I even wish to direct Suriya if I can at some point so, let's see what the future has for us"
