One of Karthi’s much awaited projects is ‘Sulthan’, which is helmed by ‘Remo’ director Bakkiyaraj Kannan. It is bankrolled by SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures.
‘Sulthan’ also marks actress Rashmika Mandanna’s Tamil debut and her fans are also really looking forward to the movie. The teaser of the movie was recently launched and was well-received!
Apart from the leads, the film also features Napoleon, Lal, Yogi Babu, Ramachandra Raju amongst others in prominent roles and the movie is all set to hit the theatres on 2nd April 2021. However, rumours suggest that the makers are planning for a different release date owing to the rise in Coronavirus scenario and also the upcoming elections.
Now, SR Prabhu has taken to his social media to thrash the rumours. He tweeted, “Many of our friends are asking whether we are releasing #Sulthan on 2nd April concerning Covid scenario. So far there is no change in that decision. We are sticking to the date! So pls Wear Mask, take proper precautions & wait to enjoy the max fun on screen.”
