Sarjun who rose to fame with two critically acclaimed short films, Lakshmi and Maa is debuting with a feature film titled Echarikkai: Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam, starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, and others.
The latest official news is that the theatrical rights of this film has been snapped by National award-winning writer and producer G.Dhananjayan's Creative Entertainers and Distributors, who had earlier released Gautham Karthik's Ivan Thanthiran. Dhananjayan tweeted, "Quite loved #Echarikkai from @sarjun34 happy to market and distribute the film...Thanks to the Producer Sundar for joining us. This intense thriller also features Kishore, Yogi Babu, and Vivek Rajagopal in pivotal roles. The makers have announced that the film will release immediately after the TFPC strike against QUBE and UFO, which starts from March 1 ends. We can expect the film to release in the same month when the strike comes to an end.
Meanwhile, Sarjun is busy with the pre-production works of his second directorial film, starring Nayanthara in the lead.
