Kareena Kapoor is back with a bang after her wide success for the roles played in Udta Punjab and R. Balki's Ki & Ka alongside Arjun Kapoor. After an extended break from films due to pregnancy, she is now said to associate with her close friend and a dashing director in Bollywood, Karan Johar.

Reports stated that Karan Johar has been wanting to cast Kareena in his films for the longest time. Talks about them collaborating started post the release of Ki & Ka but, deferred due to her Pregnancy.

Latest reports suggested that Karan Johar and Kareena will be coming hand in hand under Raj Mehta's direction. Raj Mehta worked as an assistant director known for  Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Kapoor & Sons, both produced by Karan Johar.

The film has a romantic touch aligned with a unique take on marriage and relationships. The relationship drama will apparently have three other actors, apart from Kareena, who plays the main lead. The story reportedly revolves around two couples. While the first has been wedded for a few years, the second is newly married. The film is also expected to have another A-list actor matching Kareena's age bracket playing beside her.
