Director Karan Johar is one of the most prolific director, screenwriter, and film producer of the Bollywood film industry, who had produced successful Hindi films under the banner Dharma Productions, with recent projects include the Tiger Shroff-starrer Student Of The Year-2 and the Abhishek Varman-directed period ensemble Kalank.
The director took to Twitter to express his admiration towards the upcoming Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandannastarrer Dear Comrade, written and directed by Bharat Kamma. In the tweet, he had also revealed that his production house will be remaking the film in Hindi.

Earlier, two of Vijay Deverakonda's films were remade in Hindi, namely Mitron, remake of the 2016 romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu that starred Jackky Bhagnani in the lead role and Shahid Kapoor's romantic drama Kabir Singh, adapted from the 2017 cult hit Arjun Reddy.
Dear Comrade features music composed by Justin Prabhakaran and the film is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. The romantic drama is slated to release on July 26
