Atharvaa starrer Kanithan has opened to mixed to positive reviews from the critics and the general audience. This film about fake documents has apparently collected close to INR 50 lakhs in Chennai city box office according to Behindwoods weekly analysis report.

The film's first 3 days estimated gross is around 2.75 to 3 crore rupees at the Tamil Nadu Box Office. So the start has been decent and let’s wait and watch if the film holds on or not.
