The investigation into the sad demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has taken turns that no one has anticipated. The late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother, Showik Chakraborty were amongst those arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for procurement and distribution of banned substances.
Earlier, Times Now reported an alleged chat between two individuals - nicknamed "K" and "D" - engaging in a discussion about drugs. The channel claimed that these WhatsApp conversations were procured from the NCB. However, it is to be noted that NCB hasn't released any official statement on this.
The channel also went ahead and named the said individuals to be Deepika Padukone and her manager, Karishma Prakash. Kangana Ranaut has reacted to this information provided by the channel and registered her comments on the same.
She wrote, "Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse. So called high society rich star children who claim to be classy and have a good upbringing ask their manager ,” MAAL HAI KYA?” #boycottBollywoodDruggies #DeepikaPadukone." (sic)

Comments to her post read,
U are doing injustice w/ so many people who r depressed. U are spreading misinformation about poor mental health. U are making it more difficult for people in depression to come forward. Poor mental health already had less acceptance now this is going to make it look like crime.
Stop asking people to repeat your uninformed opinions and biases, Kangana. This might be your opinion about a certain person, do not extend it to all. You are doing a huge disservice! You have a problem with Deepika, keep it to Deepika. Period.
And they then become the role models in ads by different brands! What an illusion! (sic)
