One of the leading actresses, Kangana Ranaut will be having a powerful comeback to Kollywood with the biopic titled - Thalaivi. The film is being made based on the life story of Former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
She had been impressing the audiences with her massive efforts for the uncanny resemblance of the Iron Lady. And, must admit, her look in white saree with simple black and red stripes was on point.
Helmed by Vijay, the film is bankrolled by Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh R. Singh. The multi-lingual project’s cinematography will be handled by Vishal Vittal, music will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar and is co-written by writer K.V. Vijayendra Prasad.
It is a known fact that she had gained 20 kilos to fit in the character and later had regained her weight. But what went behind when she increased her weight for the film is what seems to be painful. Taking to her social media, she shared her painful experience but then she is also happy to have justified the role.
I played the first super humangirl on Indian screen, thanks to my body a rare combination of dainty yet strong looking, in my 30’s I had to gain 20 kgs for Thalaivi n do Bharatnatyam,it left my back severely damaged but no bigger gratification than to play a role to perfection 🙂 pic.twitter.com/tNdY5XoDcX
