Kamal Haasan has already announced that he will be entering politics and that he will go on a journey throughout the state, as he announces his manifesto and speaks about his vision for Tamil Nadu politics. He was the keynote speaker at Harvard University recently, and during the speech, he said that he will be adopting a village in each district of TN.

He said, "On February 21, I will begin my political journey with the announcement to adopt one village in every district of TN, with the vision to make them holistically self-sufficient; the best villages in India."
