During a recent interaction with media, Kamal Haasan was asked if actor Vijay would be a tough contestant for him if he joins politics as some say. Do you know what his reply was? Check this out:
"That is entirely Vijay's choice, who is he going to support, what agenda he is going to have? If his choice is going to be against our vision, then we will criticise him for that. If he carries the same vision as we do, we will support him like how brothers do."
Kamal Haasan's political speeches and statements have more or less confirmed that the Dhasavatharam actor would be entering politics very soon. A section of Kamal's fans was doubtful if Kamal would act in films, after entering politics. The universal star has now replied to that question in a recent interview.
"If I enter politics, there'd be only very less chances of seeing me in films. If it is going to be some serious and intense politics, why do I need to do something else? I'd have to solely concentrate only on politics." When he was asked what type of a politician he would be, taking reference from the characters he has played in his films, Kamal said, "I'd like to be Udhayamoorthy (Unnal Mudiyum Thambi) character in my political life." Udhayamoorthy is a character who stands by the people and fight for their support against any type of corruption.
All these being said, however, for a true cinema fan, this might be a disappointing news, as he/she wouldn't be able to see Kamal Haasan on the silver screen anymore. With the rise of Kamal Haasan, the politician, we might lose the valuable Kamal Haasan, the actor.
