Kamal Haasan's political speeches and statements have more or less confirmed that the Dhasavatharam actor would be entering politics very soon. A section of Kamal's fans was doubtful if Kamal would act in films, after entering politics. The universal star has now replied to that question in a recent interview.
"If I enter politics, there'd be only very less chances of seeing me in films. If it is going to be some serious and intense politics, why do I need to do something else? I'd have to solely concentrate only on politics." When he was asked what type of a politician he would be, taking reference from the characters he has played in his films, Kamal said, "I'd like to be Udhayamoorthy (Unnal Mudiyum Thambi) character in my political life." Udhayamoorthy is a character who stands by the people and fight for their support against any type of corruption.
All these being said, however, for a true cinema fan, this might be a disappointing news, as he/she wouldn't be able to see Kamal Haasan on the silver screen anymore. With the rise of Kamal Haasan, the politician, we might lose the valuable Kamal Haasan, the actor.
Kamal Haasan, who is in full form in voicing his statements against the current ruling government, has yet again, took to Twitter to post his comment on the death of a young student due to dengue fever. He has lashed out at the Government for not taking any preventive measures to stop the dengue, in spite of repeated warnings.
This tweet is roughly translated as, "The warning I had given about the Dengue fever was a waste. A student named Bhargav from DAV Gopalapuram dies. The government is sleeping, parents, please wake up. We are the securities and protectors from now on."
