Kamal Haasan was posed many interesting questions by actor Vivekh while on stage, and needless to say, Kamal's replies rocked the audience with their power.
When asked about whether spirituality knocks on his door with age, even if not religion, Kamal replied: "Naan yaanai ai irundhal kooda, madham pidikkaamal paarthu kolven. With age comes experience, intellect and wisdom, and these propel me to look at things with rationality." The analogy, unfortunately, has effect only in the Tamil language - non-Tamil speakers are asked to get it explained by Tamil buddies.
Vivekh also quizzed him about his complex, suttha Tamil that the legendary actor uses to post on Twitter while addressing some very pressing issues in society. Kamal Haasan stated: "When little children want to secretly discuss things, they use special languages - I am doing the same. My thoughts should have power, and at the same time make sense only when spent time on. There may be some Tamil brothers who do not understand, but I guess that is for the good."
TTV Dhinakaran has opposed Kamal Haasan's statement regarding the RK Nagar by-elections. Kamal Haasan called the people of RK Nagar as beggars in a recent article. This has triggered a lot of people all over TN.
TTV Dhinakaran, the MLA of RK Nagar has also expressed his opinion on the actor. He said "I initially had a lot of respect for Kamal Haasan's character and his work. But this statement of his show who he really is. One cannot camouflage his/her identity for long. Not much longer than he announced his political entry, he revealed his character by calling the voters as beggars.
Just posting something on Twitter is not enough, he should do some groundwork and know the reality. So it is not necessary for me to file a case against him, it suffices that people know his true nature."
