The multi-faceted, Kamal Haasan, has stepped into the sixtieth year of his glorious career in the field of cinema. Apart from being an actor, Kamal is also a noted screenwriter, filmmaker, choreographer, producer, dancer, singer, lyricist and has donned several hats in the field.
He had celebrated his birthday on November 7th (yesterday) and on this occasion he had visited his native place, Paramakudi to unveil the statue of his father. He was accompanied by his family members
Back to Chennai, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth unveiled the statue of late film director and their Guru, K. Balachandar at the new office premises of Ulaganayagan’s Raaj Kamal Films International in Alwarpet.
The occasion was also graced by the talented stars of the film fraternity - Vairamuthu, Mani Ratnam, PC Sreeram, Ishari Ganesh, G Gnanasambandam, Santhana Bharathi, Pushpa Kandaswamy, Pooja Kumar, Shruti Haasan, Akshara Haasan amongst others.
