Three aspiring technicians lost their lives in a ghastly unfortunate accident that happened at the sets of the film Indian 2. The incident took place yesterday at the EVP Film City around 9:30 pm.
For the unversed, a 150-foot industrial crane that was used for lighting fell down that had taken the lives of three and reportedly injured over 10 people. The film's production house, Lyca, has issued an official statement on this unexpected incident and expressed their deepest condolences and regrets to their families. According to the statement, Krishna - Assistant director, Chandran - Art Assistant and Madu - Production Assistant were the ones who demised. RIP

It is notable that reportedly, actor Kamal and director Shankar were present during the mishap, but they are safe as they were away from the accident spot at that time.
