The promo song of this movie was hit in the social media with Kalidas seen wearing a turban and dancing during a wedding function. He will play the title role which will also see Bollywood actor Javed Jaffrey in a prominent role. He had earlier acted in Major Ravi’s movie ‘Picket 43’ along with Prithviraj Sukumaran.

‘Happy Sardar’ will be released on November 28. After Kalidas Jayaram informed the release date via his social media accounts, many of his fans wished success for the movie. The film which was shot in Kerala and Punjab joins the league of movies with Punjab connection after hit movies like ‘Punjabi House’ ‘Mallu Singh’, ‘Godha’, ‘Mutharam Kunnu PO.

The music of ‘Happy Sardar’ is handled by Gopi Sundar. The film also features Balu Varghese, Sinil Sainudeen, Santhikrishna, Sreenath Bhasi and Baiju in major roles. The cinematography of the movie is done by Abhinandam Ramanujam and editing by Shameer Muhammed.
