HAS KABALI TURNED THINGS AROUND FOR THIS DUO?

Kalaiyarasan and Dhansika who had a stint together in Kabali have now consecutively signed two films together. After Kabali it was Kaala koothu and now the latest is that they have signed a thriller titled "Uru". Directed by debutant Vicky Anand, it has music by Johan of Metro fame and camera work by Prasanna Kumar who did Pichaikkaran. VP.Viji of Vaiyam medias is the producer.

Speaking about the film, Kalaiyarasan tells us he plays a novel writer and that the film is a psychological thriller set in a forest backdrop. Major portions are to be shot in Kodaikanal apart from a few days in Chennai. The film has a title track by Drums Sivamani who has offered to help the young team.

The shoot is said to start by December 5th and director Vicky Anand believes Uru is something different from the usual thrillers.
