She will be next appearing in a Tamil film after a brief hiatus with the Jayam Ravi-starrer Comali, in which the actress will be playing the female lead.

Now, there is another interesting update on the actress’ next venture. She will be teaming up with Venkat Prabhu for the second time and this time he will be directing a web-series for the popular online streaming platform, Hotstar in which Kajal has been roped in for an important role.

Our reliable sources have shared that this script was earlier planned to be shot for a movie however the director has decided to shoot it as a web-series and have planned the 10 episodes accordingly. The shoot is said to start from August and Venkat Prabhu has planned it to wrap up within September. Wow! Can’t wait to catch them soon!
