Kajal Aggarwal is joining hands with her Kavalai Vendam director Deekay, who had directed movies such as Yaamirukka Bayamey and Kaatteri.
She was recently spotted in Chennai with her newly married husband, Gautam Kitchlu. It has been speculated that she was here for the look test of the new film, which is touted to be a female-centric multi-starrer.
It has been reported that other female leads of the movie will be finalised shortly. Kajal had just recently returned from the Maldives, where she was honeymooning.
Earlier, the diva had picked up a 15 per cent stake in gaming company, Okie Gaming. However, the money that has invested in the Mumbai-based company remains unknown as of now.
It is being learnt that Kajal’s investment will be used to increase the number of games on the platform and onboard talent as it aims to clock Rs 50 crore revenue by the end of the fiscal.
"The gaming industry is booming and this is the right time to be part of it. I have always been a passionate gamer myself, and I hope to influence and open new avenues for women gamers in India," PTI quoted Kajal as saying.
"She's an involved investor who brings a unique set of ideas and insights to Okie Gaming," said Jitin Masand, CEO of Okie Ventures (parent company of Okie Gaming).
On the professional front, other than Deekay's film, Kajal Aggarwal will next be seen in multiple projects like Acharya (Telugu), Hey Sinamika (Tamil), Mosagallu (Telugu), Indian 2 (Tamil), Paris Paris (Tamil) and Mumbai Saga (Hindi).
She is also making her digital debut with Disney+ Hotstar's web series LIVE Concert, directed by the versatile Venkat Prabhu.
