KABALI SETS A NEW ALL-TIME CHENNAI CITY RECORD!

At the end of the second week, the Rajinikanth starrer Kabali has grossed around 8.26 crores in Chennai. These are huge numbers and as expected Rajinikanth has set a new all-time record at the Chennai city box office.

The film is continuing in most of the theaters across the city in the 2nd week as well. The lack of a big new release is also a factor in Kabali's largely uninterrupted 2nd week run. It might take another Rajini film to overcome this feat, at least in the near future.
