Finally, the wait for the much-awaited Kaala trailer comes to an end - So has the trailer lifted up the expectations for the film or not? Here is a quick review of this 1 minute and 30 seconds long dosage of Superstar Rajinikanth:

Just like the teaser, the trailer too starts off with Nana Patekar's voice who promises people to make Dharavi a better place to live. The next 30 seconds is about the triangle love track of Kaala. And it feels refreshing to see the way Superstar says 'I love you di.' 

The rest of the trailer shows a glimpse of the battle that we are going to see between Rajini and Nana Patekar. Kaala promises to be more action-packed than Kabali, that looked certain from this trailer.

One criticism that Kabali faced was that it had a super-commercial trailer to an overall emotionally driven film whereas Pa Ranjith has clearly shown what the people can expect from Kaala from this trailer cut. The trailer is so hard-hitting and powerful however it doesn't seem like a typical Rajinikanth film.

Backed by power filled music track by Santhosh Narayanan and some impressive cinematography work by Murali, Kaala seems technically very strong.
