Actress Jyothika is gearing up for the release of the Sy. Gowtham Raj-directed Raatchasi. The film is all set to releas on July 5. Jyothika was last seen donning the role of a homemaker turned RJ in the Radhamohan helmed Kaatrin Mozhi.
Actress Jyothika praised the producers S.R Prabhu and S.R Prakash Babu, who had bankrolled this venture under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures. She said "Everyone knows about their banner, any film they touch turns into successful ventures. They have earned the love of audiences through their sense of script."
Jyothika had also said that the only she had first approached the producers to collaborate for a film. The 'Kaatrin Mozhi' actress had also mentioned that she was impressed by the sense of clarity of the newcomers. She said that "Even my upcoming project is with a newcomer. I really like the sense of clarity they have while narrating a script. Irrespective of factors like the actor's market value and viability, they are pure to their script."
Jyothika praised Raathasi's crew members including the cinematographer Gokul Benoy, music director Sean Roldan and editor Philomin Raj. She had also addressed the parallels Ratchasi had with Samuthirakani's Saattai. She said "I have been looking in Twitter through my husband's phone. People have been calling me lady Samuthirakani and comparing the film with Saattai." She went on to say "Even if a hundred such films gets released, i think it should be enforced by the society."
She said that "Ninety-nie percent of the students associated with Agharam Foundation are from Government schools. When we speak to thirty-five percent of them, the classes are not equipped with teachers for a month. With such kind of a system provided by the government, how are they expecting them to write NEET exams."
