In a controversial speech during the teaser launch of an upcoming film titled Siva Manasil Pushpa, directed by Varaagi, actor-politician JK Ritesh has stated that he will drive out Vishal, General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam, from the Sangam itself.
The film is also touted to be based on a political incident which transpired in Delhi.
According to Ritesh, his plan is to stand in the Sangam elections against Vishal and win the position before driving the star actor out.

In a police operation in Chennai, 75 rowdies were reportedly arrested by the Chennai city police. Apparently, 45 bikes and 7 cars were seized during this undercover operation headed by Commissioner of Police AK Viswanathan.
Actor Vishal sends a wish note for this inspiring show put by the Chennai city police department:
"Truly inspired by the fantastic under cover operation by the Chennai City Police to arrest 67 Rowdies who were caught red handed with dangerous arms including pistols.
