JAYARAM'S NOBLE ACT!

Jayaram's latest visit to his hometown Perumbavur was not just to meet his old friends but it also had a special noble purpose. In a humane gesture, the superstar handed over an amount of 2 lakhs rupees to Jisha's family.

Jisha, an LLB student was mercilessly raped and murdered a few weeks ago in her house in Perumbavur. Her injuries were similar to that of Nirbhaya who was brutally gang-raped in Delhi in 2012.

Jayaram had visited Jisha's family earlier to console them and had later announced that a share of any profits from his movie Aadupuliyattam will go to them. The money will be used in constructing a house for the family, who were living in an unsafe house till this heartbreaking incident happened.
