Director Lakshman who had earlier given successful films like 'Romeo Juliet' and 'Bogan' with Jayam Ravi, will be pairing up again, for Jayam Ravi's 25th film which will produced by 'Home Movie Makers' featuring Niddhi Agerwal as the female lead. After that, Jayam Ravi's 26th film will be with director Ahmed.
Ravi's 26th film will feature Taapsee Pannu as the female lead and feature Ram of KGF fame in a crucial role. We had earlier reported that popular Hollywood stunt director Glenn Boswell had joined the team and now, they have roped more acclaimed artists on board.
Sriram Iyengar & Sujeeth Sawant who have won a national award for art design for the Bollywood film 'Bajirao Masthani' and has worked in popular historical drama 'Padavamathi' have been roped in for this upcoming film of Jayam Ravi. With that, a set has been erected in Chennai (for 10 days), in which all important cast are expected to be present during the shoot.
After this, the next schedule is in Turkmenistan, where a big grandeur set, (made with a budget of 8 crores approximately) is prepared for the shoot. The set is said to be a castle like building, which would be the villain’s den. The set is said to have a river and hill backdrop, which would be something similar to the sets of the popular Hollywood flicks Braveheart, Lord of the rings and Gladiator. The next schedule is expected to start by October 8th and the set work has started already.
