EXCLUSIVE: THE BACKSTORY OF JAYAM RAVI'S CHALLENGING TIMES!

Jayam Ravi is currently camping in Tirupathi, shooting for Vanamagan, directed by Vijay, which has music by Harris Jayaraj.

During an exclusive chat with Behindwoods, the Bogan actor revealed some interesting moments during the shoot of Vanamagan. He said, "Vanamagan will give the audience an answer to the question - Who is a better human being? The film represents the love between a guy and nature and also involves an interesting romance between a guy and a girl. Many scary incidents happened during the shoot.

One day, while we were shooting inside a forest, a leopard had come, and in a fraction of a second, everyone from the team disappeared, as the animal's entry was totally unexpected. There was this sequence in which I had to jump from a tall tree. But in the same tree, there were monkeys which were jumping from top to bottom, and I was like 'get away, if you are here with me, we will have to go for a reshoot'."
 

Vanamagan apparently involves lots of risky stunt sequences for which Ravi has lost a lot of weight as the script has a lot of bare body scenes.
