"IT WAS PAINFUL...": NAGA CHAITANYA OPENS UP FOR THE FIRST TIME FOR THE 'TALKS' ABOUT HIM AND SAMANTHA!

When the trailer of Naga Chaitanya's 'Love Story' released, Samantha hailed the romantic entertainer and called it a winner. She shared it on social media, writing, “WINNER!! All the very best to the team @Sai_Pallavi92.. #LoveStoryTrailer.” Quoting Samantha’s tweet, Chaitanya wrote: “Thanks Sam." Samantha also continues to refer Nagarjuna as 'mama' amid separation rumours and even recently she took to Twitter and referred Nagarjuna Akkineni as ‘mama’ on late actor, his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s birth anniversary. 

Chaitanya was asked if the 'talks' about his personal life was hurtful to him, to which he said, “Initially, yes, it was a little painful. I was like ‘why is entertainment heading this way?’ But after that, what I’ve learned is that in today’s age, news replaces news.” He added, “It doesn’t stay in people’s minds for too long. The actual news, the news that matters will stay. But the superficial news, the news that is used to create TRPs, is forgotten. Once I made this observation, it stopped affecting me.”

Noting that he likes to keep his personal and professional life separate as this is something that he learned from his parents, he also revealed that he is not too much into social media. The Majili actor said that he used to spend a lot of time on social media until a couple of years ago but stopped after the pandemic.

On the workfront, Naga Chaitanya's recently released Telugu movie 'Love Story' directed by Sekar Kammula has been receiving tremendous positive response from the audience as well as critics. The movie features himself and Sai Pallavi in lead roles.

Meanwhile, Samantha has wrapped up her Telugu biggie 'Shaakuntalam' directed by Gunasekhar. The movie has Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan and Allu Arha playing pivotal roles. She also has her upcoming Tamil film 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' - directed by Vignesh Shivan that stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in lead roles - awaiting release in the big screens soon.
