The film has collected a whopping 6cr+ so far and still counting within the Chennai city and the collection in Kerala is around 8cr. Iru Mugan was able to amass such a figure in spite of lesser screens, especially during Onam as films like Oppam, Oozham, and two other strong Malayalam films releasing alongside goes on to speak of the film’s success.
