Irrfan Khan launched a special trailer of Inferno exclusively for India, a first for any Hollywood film, yesterday (4th Oct) in New Delhi.
Says an industry source, "An exclusive India trailer is unheard of. What an honor it is to us as an industry and of course to the talent that is Irrfan Khan. The international makers of Inferno have gone the whole hog to prove their faith and anticipation from the Indian audiences and the Indian market. It's a mark of respect to Irrfan's talent and his body of work on the world stage".
Talking about being part of history, Irrfan Khan says, "I'm happy that something like this is happening for the first time. It feels good to be presenting this first of its kind trailer for a Hollywood film in India and that too in Delhi, a city where I first took my initial steps into acting."
The film features Tom Hanks, Irrfan and Felicity as the leads and is the sequel to The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. It has been shot extensively across locations in Italy, Istanbul and Budapest. Inferno is releasing in India on Oct 14 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
