Actor Ram Charan recently made his social media debut, right after his superstar father Chiranjeevi jumped on to the social media bandwagon.
In his first tweet, the 'Rangasthalam' actor has announced that he will be donating Rs 70 lakh to the Central Government and the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh relief fund to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
The actor said that he was inspired by his uncle and fellow superstar Pawan Kalyan's gesture of contributing Rs 1 crore to the Central Government and Rs 50 lakh each to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during this crisis. Ram Charan also lauded the efforts taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and K. Chandrasekhar Rao of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively.
On the work front, Ram Charan will be essaying the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju in director SS Rajamouli's historical film Roudram Ranam Rudhiram, produced by DVV Entertainment.
