It's been ten days since Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 started and the initial enthusiasm around the house has started to come down with the competition and emotions getting intense around the house. It was only yesterday that the nomination process to evict a housemate from BB 5 for this week took place. Since then, many have been playing the game seriously.
First week's luxury budget task of 'Oru Kadha Sollatuma' continued with Akshara Reddy, Priyanka Deshpande and Ciby Chandran talking about their stories. Akshara Reddy, who came to talk as the first contestant of day nine, spoke about the heroes in her family. Akshara said her father was her biggest hero and that she was very pampered and cared for. The model-cum-actress lost her father when she was merely eight years old. "I thought it was a game and tried to wake him up, but he didn't. My mother took care of me very well. She didn't want to remarry after my father's death. She was a very strong lady," she said.
Akshara also spoke about her beauty pageants and said that she wanted to be known among a wider group of audience and that prompted her to come to Bigg Boss show. Her story garnered three dislikes from the contestants. Priyanka, who was discussing with Niroop, Abishek, Raju and Thamarai about why people gave her dislikes, called on Akshara privately to ask her about her motto and the real reason she came to Bigg Boss. The anchor asked her to search for the reason and bring out her game.
Priyanka Deshpande, who went next on stage, spoke about her untold story. The star anchor-cum-host, who described her characteristics and her 'simple' and 'normal' family, told that her life turned upside down when her father died when she was at the age of 11. "I vividly remember that day when my father was returning from Delhi. The TTR called and told my mom that my father was restless and having breathing issues. My mom took her jewels and my brother and asked me to stay at home. My father called me and told me that he'll come home soon. That was our last conversation."
"If there is a reason why I like giving comfort to people when they are feeling uncomfortable is because of one story. Nobody helped my father when he was dying. My mom took the stretcher, held my dad and put him on it and took him to the hospital. If there was one person who had helped him, may be there would be a chance of him being alive today," she added and noted that her mother took good care of her all the time to complete her education and get whatever she needs in life.
After a small break, Ciby Chandran took to the stage to narrate his story. Stating that he was clueless in life, he said he wanted to pursue acting as a career after coming back from the UK where he went to pursue his masters. Ciby said he didn't know anyone to start his career when two of his friends helped him to star as a lead in 'Vanjagar Ulagam'. He also thanked Director Lokesh Kanagaraj who helped him give a notable role in Actor Vijay's 'Master' after a long gap.
