Popular reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 5 started with grand celebrations on October 3 where 18 contestants from all walks of life entered the house, hoping to win the coveted title and the massive cash prize. The reality show involves contestants staying inside the house for 100 days without any exposure to the outside world.
Currently there are 13 contestants inside the house and all of them have started putting their A-game forward in order to gain the audience's votes and become this season's winner. Model and social media star Nadia Chang walked out of the show on October 17 as she had the least number of votes. She was the first to be eliminated from the show.

During her brief stint in the show, Nadia spoke about her life, how she survived poverty and met the love of her life Chang Soon Huat. "He took my number from a colleague at work and called me. He told me one day that he's seen me often and that he even saw my mother beating me. He said he liked me, but I asked him to come and talk to my mom. He bravely came and spoke to my mother and it was the first time someone made her listen. He took me out of my house shortly after that," she said during the show.
"Even if she was harsh, she is still my mom. Parents should be an example for their children, we say, but we can't we take them as an example and avoid being strict to children," she added.
