Vijay Sethupathi is currently one of the bankable and busiest stars in the film industry and rightfully so. Having made back-to-back movies for release in theatres, TV and OTT platforms, he doesn't seem to catch a break. The audience, who now feel his presence everywhere, are now perplexed to the extent of questioning their realities. We are not even a little surprised!
The first week of September 2021 alone saw two movie releases of Vijay Sethupathi. SP Jananathan's last film 'Laabam' hit theatres on September 9. 'Thuglak Darbar', directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan came out on Sun TV on September 10, coinciding with the festive date of Vinayagar Chaturthi.
Up next he has 'Annabelle Sethupathi', a horror-comedy film directed by Deepak Sundarrajan releasing on Disney+Hotstar on September 17. If that's not all, fans are already watching him on TV every weekend hosting the Tamil version of MasterChef on Sun TV. This opened up to barrage of memes on Twitter and fans were convinced that wherever they go, Vijay Sethupathi follows.
Take a look at them!
Vijay Sethupathi on Theatre banners, VJS on flex banners, VJS on posters, VJS on TV shows, VJS on OTT channels.. When I rub my eyes and see the world around me, my appa, my amma, lamp posts, wall clock, everything and everyone is looking like VJS only these days.

Although Vijay Sethupathi hasn't responded to any of them or made his comments, he's made sure that his schedule is packed. One of the biggies he's working on includes Kamal Haasan's much-awaited 'Vikram' starring Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Bigg Boss Tamil fame Shivani, Myna Nandhini, VJ Maheshwari, Kalidas Jayaram and others. He's finished shooting for Vignesh Shivan's next 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' which has Nayanthara and Samantha in prominent roles. 'Kadaisi Vivasayi', a rural-drama is also awaiting release.
Wait, there's more. Vijay Sethupathi also has Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai', Seenu Ramasamy's 'Maa Manithan', Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha', 'Article 19(1)(A)', Ranjit Jeyakodi's 'Michael' and an untitled series with 'Family Man' makers Raj and DK. The 'Super Deluxe' actor making his Bollywood debut with 'Mumbaikar', which is the remake of Tamil movie 'Maanagaram' (2017).
