Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsSuperstar Rajinikanth is currently engaged with the shoot of his upcoming film Annaatthe that is directed by Siva and has an ensemble cast that includes Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Soori, Sathish amongst others in prominent roles.
Now, there emerged a report that did heavy rounds that Superstar Rajinikanth would be doing one more film for Sun Pictures after Annaatthe, marking his fourth collaboration with the production company after Enthiran, Petta, and Annaatthe.
Tentatively being referred as Thalaivar 169, rumours speculated that directors Karthik Subbaraj and Desingh Periyasamy (Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal fame) were the frontrunners to helm this project.
Now, Desingh Periyasamy has taken to his social media to clarify, “The News which is spreading about my next film is not true. Will update u soon...Thanks for the love and support. Stay Safe and Take Care!”
