''SADDENED TO SEE A NEAR EMPTY HALL FOR THIS BRILLIANT FILM''

The past few weeks have been a tough phase for the film industry, after the introduction of the GST and also the double taxation confusions. Theaters were shut down for four days in Tamil Nadu. 

Now, after GST has been introduced, the ticket rates have relatively increased in all the screens throughout the state. This has resulted in the reduction of the number of people who are coming to the theaters to an extent.

Hema Rukmani, the CEO of Thenandal Studios Limited, took to Twitter to express her grief on this issue. She said, ''I watched #ThondimuthalumDriksakshiyum at last. Saddened to see a near empty hall for this brilliant film. #changes #pricehike''.
